De_chimney is a map that I’ve worked on for a long time to have something to tinker with at home. I love working with Counter-Strike as it really allows you to get into the nitty gritty details of Level Design. Every little detail counts and can affect gameplay in major ways. I find the iterative process in this kind of environment deeply satisfying.
This map is a project I’ve come back to many times the past several years. I’ve used the Mapcore community several times to playtest the map since the blocking stage and during later iterations. Feedback from them has been crucial for me to make extensive changes to the map throughout its development.
It’s been a solo endeavor from the start and a real passion project for me.
